This area is a traditional stronghold for the Nepali Congress. Eighteen percent think Anil Kumar Sharma (CPN-Maoist Centre) will win the seat; while 11% each pick either Upendra Raj Sharma Kafle (CPN-ML) or Haribol Bhattarai (Nepali Congress B.P.) as the winner. One percent mentioned Bibeksheel-Sajha candidate Rabindra Mishra.  Another 11% were unsure which candidate will win in this area.
