Team off to London
A seven-member para-taekwondo team on Sunday left for England to take part in the seventh World Para-taekwondo Championships slated for October 19 in London.
Rohit Hang Rai will take part in the men’s 75kg weight category and Ram Adhikari will participate in the men’s 70kg for K-42 category events, while Palesa Gowardhan will fight in the women’s 58kg and Ranjana Dhami will compete in the women’s 49-kg for K-44 section.
Team leader Kasim Miya Dhobi, team manager Rajendra Upreti and coach Kalyan Kunwar accompanied to players to London.
