Ajay Devgn and Kajol set up camp in Singapore as daughter Nysa joins an international school
Mirror has learnt from reliable sources that Ajay Devgn and Kajol are set to be frequent fliers to Singapore from August since their 14-year-old daughter Nysa is reportedly headed to the United College of Southeast Asia, one of the most renowned IB schools worldwide of which Sonam Kapoor, among others, happens to be an alumna.
"Both Kajol and Ajay are obviously keen that their daughter get the best education. They were originally toying with the idea of sending her to a university in the UK since the Devgns have a house in London and it is their favourite holiday destination as well. However, they have now zeroed in on Singapore because it is closer to home and there are as many as five flights between Mumbai and Singapore every day so it sort of makes it more accessible for the family," a source close to the development told Mirror.
One also hears that Kajol and her daughter will fly to Singapore in July to finalise all arrangements before school commences. The source adds, "The Devgns may end up renting a place in the Lion Country for a couple of years because they would want to be closer to the institute's campus."
Other stars kids who are currently studying overseas include Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's firstborn, Aryan, who is at a university in California and daughter Suhana, who is enrolled in a London school. Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda is at a New York university.
Mirror reached out to Devgn for comment but the 48-year-old actor filmmaker remained unavailable till the time of this paper going to press.
