KATHMANDU, June 7: Supreme Court has scrapped two different writs filed demanding the early appointment of Chief Justice.

A single bench of Justice Cholendra Shamsher JBR issued an order to scrap both writs following the hearing on Thursday, without issuing show cause notice to the government. The petitioners in their petition had requested SC to issue the show cause notice to the government to furnish reasons for delay of appointment of Chief Justice.
