KATHMANDU, June 1: The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal will be joining the KP Sharma Oli led government today. According to a source, Upendra Yadav and Mohamed Istiyak Rai will be administered the oath of office and secrecy today. The duo will become minister of Health and Urban Development respectively.

Earlier, the FSFN has placed the constitution amendment — an issue it has been raising since the promulgation of the constitution — as a major proposal in joining the government. On May 28, FSFN and Nepal Communist party reached a two point agreement at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

The agreement ensures to address issues related to constitution amendment on the basis of mutual understanding.
