Netizens remind Modi of 2015 blockade ahead of his visit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Nepal for a two-day official visit on May 11-12. Social Media has been awash with messages against Modi’s visit.  There are so many hastags like #BlockadeWasCrimeMrModi, #ModiNotWelcome which are on trending.

Coming down heavily on Indian Prime Minister Modi, Badal Basnet has twitted saying that the people of Nepal have not forgotten the woes caused by six month long blockade imposed by India and the continuous political interference so they do not want to welcome you.

Similarly, Tanka Raj Khanal has mentioned in his tweet that Modi-led Indian government committed a henious crime by imposing a blockade on Nepal so Nepali  people do not welcome him.
