Trishuli jeep plunge-Secretary Yadav with other two missing

DHADING, Feb 10: A jeep carrying Secretary of Ministry of Irrigation, Ramanand Prasad Yadav plunged into Trisuli river. The ill-fated jeep (Ba 2 Jha 3140) was en route to Kathmandu from Kapilvastu when it skidded off the road and plunged into the river at Salangghat, Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-4 of Dhading. Yadav was returning after fixing his daughter’s marriage.

According to the Area Police Office, Gajuri, it is noted that the jeep met with an accident at 2:45 am, Saturday.

Ramananda Prasad Yadav, his son Santosh Yadav and one relative are missing while the driver of the jeep, Niranjan Yadav sustained injuries. Driver Yadav has been taken to Kathmandu for further treatment said Police Inspector Sanjay Timilsina,Khanikhola Area Police Office.  Further investigation is going on for the missing ones.
